  • Truck Transportation: 4-Lane Divided U.S. Hwy. 63
  • Rail Transportation: Burlington Northern Santa Fe and Union Pacific Railroad (Cargill operates a rail yard with immediate access to the Union Pacific on the north and the BNSF on the south of the property.
  • Water and Sewer: Cargill operates and maintains a water and sewer system for itself and for qualified companies in the industrial park.
  • Utility Services: Complex electrical power supplied by Alliant Energy, which has a coal-fired power station less than 5 miles from the complex. Mid American Energy supplies the natural gas to the complex as well as the electrical power within the industrial park.
  • Products Produced: Corn Wet Milling, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Dextrose, Citric Acid, Feed Grade Lysine, Citrous Salt, Crude Corn Oil, CO2, Ethanol, Monosodium Glutamate, Natural Vitamin E, Dry Sweeteners, Cyclodextrins, Itaconic Acid, Threonine, and Glucosamine.
  • Special Features: The Iowa Bioprocess Training Center in the complex houses an expanded two-year credit program in Bioprocess Technology, as well as a new Process Control Technician certificate program. In addition, a full menu of biotechnology training courses are offered through Iowa BioDevelopment and in response to needs of the value-added agricultural industry.

Special Note

The industrial park is owned by Cargill, Inc., and reserved for companies engaged in processes that utilize raw materials from the Cargill plant or companies that produce raw materials used by the plant. Current park tenants include Anjinomoto USA, Anjinomoto Heartland, Wacker Chemical Company, and EPCO Carbon Dioxide Products.
