ED Lead Tracker System to Improve Prospect Management

One of the issues covered in Christian Renaud's keynote at this year's State of the Economy is that technology can be a force multiplier. In other words, when you are a staff of one, technology can be the extra tool needed to expand productivity in the office. In this case, we're talking about... a new customer relationship management (CRM) tool called ED Lead Tracker, recently subscribed to by OEDC as part of its business development plan.
Created and marketed by Smart Solutions Group based in West Des Moines, ED Lead Tracker is specific for use by economic developers because it was designed by economic developers. It is a modern, web based, mobile friendly system designed to be affordable, simple and powerful. ED Lead Tracker recognizes that leads, prospects and projects are high value assets. And just like Renaud said, will help OEDC do a better job of measuring, tracking and reporting progress, success and momentum.
"I think its right for OEDC because its a platform that's easily learned, allows for multiple users, and doesn't require additional hardware and software support. And while it can be self-learned, Smart Solutions offers training for users on- site at our office. That's a plus for all of the Greater Ottumwa Partners in Progress team" says director Sharon Stroh.
Currently, economic development offices in both Ottumwa and Fairfield are using the ED Lead Tracker product, and Smart Solutions will be presenting to the 10-county regional group during the regularly-scheduled September meeting.
